Rohtang Pass officially closed for next 6 months after snowfall

After the fresh snowfall in high peaks of Manali, the 13050 feet Rohtang Pass is officially closed for approximately 6 months. Every year around mid of November month Rohtang Pass is closed due to snowfall. Rohtang si the gateway to the Lahoul & Spiti valley which will be cut off for half of the year. Vehicles are permitted upto Gulaba barrier now a days and may be restricted up to Kothi Village in case of heavy snowfall.
